Why join the
Branch?
Why should
you spend up to £20 to join the Branch?
Joining the
Branch means you also become a member of the RSCDS.
From the
RSCDS you will receive the twice yearly magazine the Scottish Country Dancer.
This contains articles about the Society and its activities, the history of
Scottish country dancing and news from branches around the world. Once a year
there will be a leaflet of new or revived dances enclosed with the magazine.
Membership
of the RSCDS will give you a discount on the prices of many dances. It also
means you support the training and development of the teachers and musicians who
do so much to give us such enjoyment.
As a member
of the BHS Branch you will receive the quarterly Branch News. This newsletter
contains information about dances in the area and some articles on dancing
topics.
As an RSCDS
member you get a discount on purchases from the Branch Shop which keeps a number
of RSCDS published CDs and books as well as Pillings. Teresa, who runs the shop,
can order items if she does not have them in stock.
And of
course you get a discount at Branch events including the Branch Advanced Class
at Finchampstead.
